The Ultimate Shelby 427 GT500 Package: A 2009 Shelby GT500 upgraded with the Super Snake package and #427 of the Limited Edition Shelby 427 packages for the Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang, VIP passes for two to the Shelby 427 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, hotel accommodations at the Monte Carlo Casino and Resort, a meet and greet with Carroll Shelby, private suite access to watch the race, a Shelby GT hood signed by Carroll Shelby and participating NASCAR drivers, a private tour of the Shelby factory and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Since its inception in 1998, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been run at a length of 400.5 miles, which is 267 laps around the 1.5-mile oval. This year’s special event to be held March 1, 2009 will be lengthened to 427 miles and will be called the “Shelby 427.”
